Do you know this plant?

My mom found this plant in our backyard at home. I am not sure what it is. I had tried looking it up in the internet to no avail. Please help me identify this plant. Thanks.

I have found the name. Should've dug deeper. Its Amorphophallus paeoniifolius. Thanks!

 

wow ! that is one strange looking plant

 

Well, in it's defense, that's just the inflorescence. Amorphophallus have some of the largest "flowers" in the world - check out the gigantic and stink-tacular Corpse Flower - A. titanum.

 

It is very strange. Smells too -- like burning leaves and rotting fish. But its so strange, its beautiful.
