Found behind old Timber Retaining Wall.
Before the Tyre wall was built.
It's a cool pic (actually more than cool - it's awesome), but I do have to stick with plants for BPotD - if an insect is shown, it needs to have the plants it hangs out with.
OK. Youre THE BOSS.
So what happens now? Do you delete it or do I ?
Well, I can move it to Photography and Art where others can enjoy it.
Thank you Daniel
Now why did I look at that just before bed time? Fantastic shot. I can't imagine what it would be like to come across one of those while weeding the garden!
WOW! How big it is?
Thank you for asking. barvinok.
The monster is 2.5 inches, or 65 mm.
It makes a loud noise when threadened.
I knew there was a good reason why I live here, and not there.
WHAT is it, exactly?
Please look here.
850 times its own weight. WOW thats strong.
I see it lives in north USA also.
Thats close to Canada.
Glad to read that it won't bite me - would have most likely been a squashed beetle if I had ever come across it, prior to reading this thread.
