I just plant the new asian pear tree in back yard. I put some bone meal in the hole before transplant. The tree grows pretty well. It grows new branch and many leaves. I wanna ask whether I need to prune it? I heard it does good for new fruit tree. Thanks

I would leave it for this year. It will be pretty stressed from the planting, and will need it's energy to help grow strong roots.
