I love bougainvilleas and been trying to grow them for a long time ... I live in southern ca, 20 miles above the pacific. This time I planted in a pot, outside ... it is green, but no fllowers ... it has 3-4 hours of sun. Our summers can get very hot; 90 degrees. Our winter have a few frozen nights and I saw the bougainvillea to freeze, but spring again in the spring. What does the bougainvillea need? Thanks for the help
