Diverse ecosystems are crucial climate change buffer

    Sadly when the subject of climate change and deforestation come up, the topic focus is almost always on tropic rainforests or destruction of temperate forests. Hardly any attention is given Savanah or chaparral communites, though maybe only as a passing interest or footnote.
