My grape vines are on top of a pergola in my back yard. The vines are currently laying on top of the pergola, and then shooting in an upward direction (toward the sky). Should I allow them to grow this way, or should I try to wind them around the pergola so as to make the vines parallel to the ground? They are very healthy. Thanks!
