I missed the boat on starting my asparagus indoors from seed- waited for a nice sunny day, took the seed package out to the garden and then read that it is recommended to plant indoors 10 weeks beforehand. Oops. Would it be better to plant them in little starter pots (which in all honesty are going to be outside all summer anyways) or just to sow them directly in their beds? Advice...pros...cons?
