Well, folks, the attached two trees are just around a corner from each other. The leaf appearance and arrangement are the same. I've been through trees known to have catkins/aments, but am at a loss for this. Any help appreciated. I don't know if they are native or not. file names preceded with _f or _m for what I believe to be male & female. Thank you in advance for any help.
Definitely looks like it. Will post pictures once the fruit develops. Picramniaceae - never heard of it before. Thank you so much for this help. Since finding those first 2 trees, have found several more.
Some follow-up of Alvaradoa amorphoides female inflorescence - photos taken 02 January and 24 January. Again, many thanks for the help.
