Hi! I'm growing dill, parsley, and chives indoors. Does anyone have any tips they could give me for growing these? Thanks! ~tgplp
If you're growing the dill for the weed and not the seed, don't let it bloom - pinch the heads before they can open. Once it's bloomed, the weed takes on a more bitter anise-ish flavour which is really not that appealing. Parsely and chives are pretty much maintenance-free apart from watering them occasionally.
chives are sweeter before they've gone to bloom, so, you'll want to remove buds as they appear to keep the chives at their best.
