Diervilla lonicera?

    I've so far concluded that this low growing shrub is from the Caprifoliaceae family, some kind of honeysuckle, thinking Diervilla lonicera.

    Any confirmation or feedback is always great and thanks in advance :D

    I'll confirm Caprifoliaceae. It does appear to be Diervilla lonicera, too, but not as firm on that.

    It looks just like the Diervilla lonicera in our yard, if that helps.
