There is a medium sized Cedar tree (75') tall on my property line and it seems to be dieing and is losing it green from the top down. I read or heard somewhere that Vitamin B can be used to save a dieing tree or is there some other treatment that can be recommended. Thanks for your ideas.
Vitamin B won't do anything, it is no better than snake oil (and sold by the same people). If the soil is heavily compacted, decompaction treatment might work. But there's very little more can be said here. Realistically, what's needed is an in-person inspection from an ISA-certified arboricultural consultant.
At this time of the year Thuja plicata are likely to be showing drought effects. Species is actually able to lose the upper top but keep the rest, if only the one section is going tree may still be okay otherwise.
