Hello I wanted to see how I would go about registering a 100 year old Camperdown(weeping Elm) ,as a heritage tree? The tree is in Ladner,on a property that has a farm house already designated as a heritage building.I have seen younger Camperdowns in the States that are designated heritage sites, and I would like to do the same! Anyone know which way I can turn? Thanks jojohoho
If the house is a heritage building, perhaps call the local heritage society or the City Hall. Will the house stay on the property? Or, is it like the farm next to me, where the heritage society has the house on the registry but it might get torn down if no-one will pay to move it across town (Pitt Meadows)
Thanks David. The house would stay, and contacting city hall out here is a good place to start! If ytou have any other thoughts do not hesitate to contact me. Jo
