On a visit to Home Depot in Columbus last weekend, I was surprised to see that they are carrying deodar cedars. I thought that they were only hardy to zone 7 at best, while central Ohio is on the line between 5 and 6. Are there recent cultivars that are more cold hardy? (I did not see a cultivar name on the tag.)

There are hardier cultivars but if these are seedlings they probably aren't a good bet for you there.
