We had two of these bushes in our yard which we had to remove, but I'd like to plant another one in a different location and now I have no idea what they were. They were deciduous (zone 7), had spear-shaped, bright green leaves in an opposite pattern. The leaves were also very soft and fragile, not glossy and thick like the Pieris species. The white, fragrant, bell-shaped flowers clustered into larger blooms and bloomed from April through most of the summer. I have done a fair amount of research online to try to hunt down this species to no avail! The previous owners were German; I wondered if they might have been an import...?
