Douglas Justice's December in the Garden 2024 - UBC Botanical Garden blog features coniferous trees native to the area of the Botanical Garden (found naturally locally). There are photos in the blog. Here are a few. Thuja plicata, Western Red Cedar Tsuga heterophylla, Western Hemlock Pseudotsuga menziesii, Douglas Fir. The last photo shows some younger trees in the BC Native Garden. I think this has to be Abies grandis, Grand Fir.
@Pieter mentioned in the 2024 Virtual Garden Tour thread how hard it is to find something in his yard still in bloom. These Hesperantha coccinea on the entrance plaza at UBCBG were still looking attractive on December 3.
