I'm new on here and am hoping someone in one of your groups can help me. I have a huge maple tree in my yard (northwest Tennessee) that I fear is dead or dying. I'm 53 years old and it's been here all my life. It breaks my heart to think I might loose it. Last summer it was covered in leaves but at the first sign of fall, the leaves didn't turn the beautiful bright yellow as usual. They turned brown and didn't fall from the tree quickly. I've been waiting for some sign of life as all our other trees are already leafing out. There's not a single leaf on my old tree. When I break a branch anywhere on it, it's still green inside. Is my tree dead or dying? Thanks! Sherry Hosey
