Growing 15 date palms from seed. Is there any fertilizer that can be given to seedlings? They vary from 3 inches to 8 inches tall. I will be wintering indoors with LED grow lights.
Hi! Your palms are still very young, and since winter is near, I do not recommend fertilizing them until spring. When it arrives, then any specific fertilizer for palms will help them grow. However, from experience I recommend guano, but be careful because, although it is natural, it must be used as indicated on the container since it is very concentrated. typically you would wait to fertilize until the palm has at least one true frond. you should use a fertilizer specific yo palms, because many cannot tolerate high nitrogen. these are usually granular or sow release
