    Nice seedlings, look very healthy.

    How did you germinate , and how long did they take to germinate?

    I wrapped in paper towel warm water 24 hrs heat mat, straight in moist dirt plastic cover on heat mat , you know I can't remember exactly in days but it was fast not like other palms & I had 8 out of 10 seeds germinate so percent was really good

    I had the same % with seeds of P. canariensis that is close related to Date Palm.....germination is not a problem :)

    Many thanks!

    I have some new seed Livinstonia australis I would like to germinate.

    I also visit a hospital and got some fresh Trachycarpus fortunei seed.
