Database update

    The forums will be closed from 10PM to midnight PST this evening, May 25, 2006, to upgrade the database to the latest version.

    This upgrade will (at the least) improve the search functionality of the forums.

    Ok, we did find one problem that was caused by a bug in the database software, but a patch had already been released for it, so that was fixed.

    I've noted the forums are just a tad slower than usual, but I'm not sure whether this problem will go away with time (the server might need to recache whatever it caches, so this might just be a temporary thing).
