Hello, does anyone know if the Cobra Lily (Darlingtonia) grows around Vancouver? Here is a photo of some I ran across in California in case anyone has seen them here.
    Thanks!

Not natively. Could certainly be cultivated there.

I've been growing them on the westcoast for over 15 years...they're not native to BC, but our climatic conditions are ideal for them. I have almost a hundred of them around my pond..mostly offshoots via stolon runs.

I visited a growth of these plants in the wild back in August of this year. If you're interested in seeing some of the natural habitat conditions of darlingtonia californica (Cobra Lily) check out my photos at:
http://www.generasian.ca/cp_darlingtonia.html ...at the bottom of this page there is also a photoalbum of the plants.
