dark red wildflower

    Can anyone id this wildflower?
    Found at >3300m in the southern rocky mountiains (us)

    could this be a type of Hebe?

    I can see why you would first suggest Hebe - it sure resembles that in overall appearance. However, I'm fairly certain it is Rhodiola integrifolia (formerly Sedum integrifolium) - sometimes listed as Sedum rosea, but now segregated from Sedum rosea because of the leaves that lack teeth (and likely other reasons).
