Wildflowers: Dark purple Alberta wildflower

    Hi!

    Does anybody know what this flower is, or if it is a weed?

    I didn’t plant it, and it has a long stem with the leaves mainly at the base.

    Looks like Campanula glomerata. A Eurasian native often grown as a garden perennial. Not listed as an invasive in Alberta.

    Thank you so much! I’m so happy it’s not a weed, it’s very prevalent around my home, but it’s a lovely colour and the bees really like it :)
