I don't know of too many plants that do well over time in a dark corner, even low light plants need decent indirect light to stay healthy looking. How dark of a corner is dark?

do you have a receptacle nearby? if so, you can easily get a small light fixture like a spotlight type (either one that sits on the floor or one that you can attach to the wall or ceiling) and place it by whatever you decide to put there.

grow lights are available in fluorescent (long tube) as well as incandescent (cone) style, so you can easily get the proper type of bulb for the kind of fixture you get.

Hi joclyn, I do have Electrical sockets nearby. I could as you said plug a lamp into it and have it pointed at the plant.
