I have one of these shrubs ..Dappled Willow.. Hakuro Nishiki... it came in a 2 gallon pot .. and i just transplanted it about 2 weeks ago .. it was doing really good up until i discovered that there were ants right by it so i sprinkled some of the Sevin bug powder to get rid of them .. and now the shrub is starting to turn brown on some of the leaves and they are falling off im worried about this shrub as it is so pretty and gonna be a focal point in my yard .. what can i do for it .. is is the Sevin ??.. should i dig it up and plant it in a fresh place ??

    Thanks in advance ..

I find it hard to believe it would be that. Try hosing down the area and cut the shrub back....new growth should come and be the pretty white and pink.

I know i finf it hard it would be that also .. but it happened shortly after i put the stuff there ..
and it was growing nice up untill then .. most of the browning is happening near the base .. and i know i watered it good when i planted it ..

I just hope it makes it ...

    thanks
