A month ago I helped a friend plant some hollies in her yard, hollies were about 5 foot tall. In a couple of weeks the leaves began to turn brown and dry out. The nursery had my friend and informed her that all the hollies they had recieved from a wholesellar were damaged by the recent cold weather, the hollies' root balls were exposed to the cold. The good thing was that the nursery voluntary replaced the damages hollies with new one. Anyway, I dug up the damaged hollies and in order to try to save them I put them all together in a sheltered area and covered the root balls with some dirt with peat in it. So the leaves will drop, so any suggestions on what I can do next?
