Every time that i plant daffidils the first year we see nice display of flowers, but the next year all that comes up is green . Why does this happen ? I do have a lot of squirrels in the garden do they eat the bulbs ? Any ideas ?

Bulbs poisonous. Try fertilizing. Must be enough soil minerals present to support continued growth and flowering.

Hoping you don't remove your daffodil foliage too early.....that's what feeds the bulbs for the following year. You need to leave the foliage on til they have no moisture left in them (they turn yellow/brown). I tie mine up in knots to keep them tidy til they're ready for removal (something you're not supposed to do, but, hey...it works for me).
