Identification: Cypress or cedar tree?

    I'd say Juniper. Those berries are used as a spice (somehow) and I believe some are used in the making of Gin.

    Ditto to juniper, specifically Eastern Juniper Juniperus virginiana. The small blue spheres are the berry-like cones, the large brown objects are spore bodies of Gymnosporangium fungal disease (not edible!).
