Identification: Cypress? in vancouver

    I see these all over Vancouver and have always called them Chamaecyparis, without daring to be any more accurate. My best guess is pisifera of some type... Am I way off the mark?

    Yep; Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Squarrosa' or other very similar cultivar.
