   hi i read in this forum that for any garden man or collector the Cycas are conifer !is true ?Where is the correct story? And if yes where is the scentific support for this ?

   No... cycads are gymnosperms, but not conifers. Conifers are also gymnosperms - perhaps that's where the confusion comes from.
