Hi, I am new to house plants and new to the forum, wow this site is impressive. I have a question about propagating my three ivy plants. I understand that I can root them in water after cutting them, but what is the ideal condition for the plants that I am cutting? All three are happy now and growing well, they are facing south and under plant lamps. Can I cut them too far? Do they need to be warmer once they face the stress of being cut? Will they need more water? ex cetera ex cetera?

    Thank you
