cut back pampas grass late

I did not get to cut back my pampas grass last year and I was wondering if it is too late to cut it now or should I wait until next November/December?

 

Do you get frost in your area? If you do, then wait for it to kill back the leaves and then trim. If your grass grows year-round, like mine does, you can cut it now without causing it any problems.
