A friend of mine gave me a small curry leaf tree from a cutting her mother took from her own tree and rooted. I do a lot of gardening and am familiar with the plants that do well in my area (zone 5b), but not so much when it comes to more temperate/tropical plants. I re-potted the cutting, but it keeps getting some dark splotches on the lower leaves. I keep it outside when it is sunny and warm, otherwise I keep it inside in the window. I'm not sure what the issue is; does anyone have any ideas? Since it was only on the lower leaves, I was hoping for a correctable nutrient deficiency, but I'm worried about fungus or something worse as well. The top leaves also have some faint whitish spots that I'm not sure about. Any help is appreciated!

    Thank you!
