Hello! i am new to this forum, so please be gentle with me!

We have an amazing curly branched tree that recently was in distress as it was thriving for water, as we completely lost track of it in amongst the many. Well it created nuts or seeds, and we were wondering how to plant these? any suggestions?

p.s the tree survived and has been relocated closer to the house so to feed him water regularly. :)

    cheers,

Please give us a photo! Several, even!

Maybe your tree is a contorted filbert, Corylus avellana 'Contorta'---aka 'Harry Lauder's Walking Stick'.

    And: welcome to the Forum!

Yes, nuts would indicate it is a Corylus. Most other curly trees seen here are willows. If it made bean-like pods then it is liable to be a contorted Robinia.

Does sound like contorted Hazel Corylus avellana 'Contorta'.

It is as the scientific name states, a cultivar of Hazel (Corylus avellana), not of Filbert (Corylus maxima).
