Hi, I have a prune plum tree whose leaves are curling. There doesn't seem to be any bugs involved with this process, and every leaf on the tree is the same, so I'm wondering if the tree has a disease or maybe needs some specific form of nutrition, or ? I do keep it fairly well watered during the drier months. The tree is quite old and I've pruned off cankers and cancers I've found on its branches over the years, so I won't be surpised to learn it has a serious disease. It produces lots of plums and about 75% are healthy and the other 25% either drop or are severely stunted. I have never given the tree any treatment like dormant spray. I don't even know what that does. But I suspect I'm about to learn. Cheers, Todd Johnson, North Vancouver, B.C. Canada
Whole Tree Wrinkles, Not Just the Prunes Sure there are no aphids on the inside surface of the curled leaves?
