it looks like a Dracenea (sp?) Marginata .. and also is that one of those decorative pots that dont have drainage in the bottom ??. if it dont have drainage i would move it to another pot and dont water it as much let the dirt dry out some before watering it again .. good luck with it :) Marn
Nandan, what leaf pattern do you consider to be 'Bicolor'? (Doesn't bicolor imply two colors?) 'Tricolor' has a green leaf center, followed by gold and finally a red margin. Conditions of culture may account for the plant in the photo being less 'colorful'.
well, if it's bicolor or tricolor doesn't make any difference to me!important is that I know what plant this is!thanks to you all!
You may be right, Nandan, and I may have answered my own question. I saw a plant labelled as 'Bicolor' today and it looked quite similar to this one. The leaf center was a narrow band of gold, followed by lime green, and finished off with a red margin. This basic pattern had a washed out appearance and varied greatly from leaf to leaf. 'Tricolor' has much more distinct banding.
