This Monterey Cypress is on the property of the Blue Gull Inn, 1310 Clay St, in Port Townsend, WA. The owner thinks it was planted when the house was built in 1868. He says it's 23' (7m) around and he guesses it's 75' (23m) tall. Good guess - I see it's listed in Champion Trees of Washington State (Robert Van Pelt, University of Washington Press, 1996) as being 79' tall, with a crown spread of 79' in 1995.
