Tobago again. I am pretty sure that it is Cuphea sp. It was shrubby. Found in a private garden. However, I have not been able to id it further as I cannot find a match to the leaves. The nearest I found were Cuphea strigosa here... Sorry......don't think Cuphea carthagenensis fits ..it has glandular hairs on the stems. "Annual. My error..spelling. I misread name...should be Cuphea strigulosa. These pics seem to fit. Especie - FVEB El Verde Happy to close this mystery.
