Can anyone direct me as to where to get a Bay Laurel plant? I have called all local greenhouses, and none of them know.

    Thanks very much

most garden centers carry it here, look in the herb department or veggie department. I have one on my patio, I throw a few leaves in when I use the BBQ for grilling meats, it smokes up nicely and adds a hint of flavour to the mix.

The reason your local places don't stock it is that it isn't hardy outdoors in Alberta. So mail order is essential, and you'll have to keep it indoors (but cool, around 5 to 10°C) in the winter.
