Has anyone ever heard of this tree or have any information on it I have found one link to a nursery in England, but can find no references in any of the books, nor even on Esveld's site Is this just another 'additional' naming for an existing variety? http://www.burncoose.co.uk/site/plants.cfm?pl_id=87&fromplants=_cr=GA1&pl_id=74
whis4ey, I think that you may want to check A.p. 'Crimson Prince'. This is a new red palmate. I was given a small plant last year but it is way to early to say what it will look like. Ed
Sam, It is not in the World Checklist. I have 'Pink Princess', a very dwarf selection from H.Geers of Boskoop, could they be the same? Gomero
Sam, An A.p. 'Crimson Princess' is listed on this Suffolk, Virginia, U.S. site www.bcnursery.com/store.asp . No photo, but a description. It's not a dissectum, so a different cultivar from that shown on the Burncoose site, similar names should make it confusing.
Sounds suspiciously like the very careless naming that we have discussed before on this forum One wonders once again if this is simply to encourage collectors to part with their hard earned cash
