My Bloodgood is turning green already. I'm in zone 8b and it is already in the mid 90's. 2/3's of it is still dark red/puple with new growth being bright red. I'd like to know if Crimson Prince will tolerate the heat better and stay red longer? Does anyone know how it will perform in zones 8/9? Or of anyother upright red maple that will hold its color throughout the summer. (what about Yezo Nishiki?)

    Thanks
