I recently joined The Arbor day foundation, and as a gift I received 5 crepe myrtle trees. I live in south FL, they came with instructions and all, but I would like some advice. I did not have enough room in my yard to plant all 5 directly into the ground. I planted 2 in the ground in a halfway sunny spot, the other three are in gallon containers in complete sun spots. I followed the directions and am hoping for the best, I'm new at all this. Does anyone have any advice for me? thanks.
Seminole County provides a good factsheet: Crapemyrtle care, as does the College of Agriculture at Auburn, Georgia: common crapemyrtle
