Has anyone experienced a terrible blooming time for your crape myrtles? We have about 12 crape myrtles - some small and one very large 20 yr old tree. Every year we are amazed at the beautiful huge blooms and how they drape into a canopy .. This year we have very few blooms - no draping and we are very disappointed. Could it have been the very cold winter of 2008 in West Central Florida? Any comments or suggestions appreciated.
