Crab Apple? Maybe??

    Hello! I was wondering if anyone might help me figure out what kind of apple tree this is. It was planted by the builder a couple years ago. It produced fruit of approx. the same size last year. Fruit is very tart. I think it is a type of crab apple, but not sure.

    I've seen trees like that in Nurseries here in the UK and they are usually labelled 'Ornamental apple' if that helps at all.....
