Could you please help me!

    Hi,

    I just purchased a Areca Palm, Its been a week and its kept near the window always, there are black spots appearing on steam.

    What precautions i should take?Could u please help me out.

    Stop watering it. For as long as it takes for all the soil to dry out, then water well enough for most of the soil (and roots) to get some, then let it dry again before the next time, etc. Keep it out of bright light (honestly). You may need to use a fungicide for house plants on it - but wait til it's watering time again.

    thx a lot..but i have been watering very little.I will keep it out.

    sorry i have another question.It looks like my plam has slowly started to turn yellow in color too.Any suggestion for this?
