All three sprout next to my young Acer Palmatum, through the pine barks used as mulch. Are they weeds or? Thanks in advance
Re: Could you name he seedlings pls No they are not weeds. Top one lookes like an Acer. (Maple) Unsure of the 2nd one but looks like a tree seedling of some sort 3rd one is a coniferous type seedling Someone with more seed knowledge might be able to name them at this stage Liz

But interesting, my Acer was planted there just last year and had some seeds on and this one luckly shoot the target. So I have to try with the other seeds that I have collected and kept aside. Re: Could you name he seedlings pls #3 is a seedling of Pinus brutia (Kızılçam) or Pinus pinea (Fıstık çamı). #2 looks more like a seedling of Acer pseudoplatanus (Dağ akçaağacı) or a related species to me.
