Hello, I have recently moved and I have several plants/flowers in my flowerbed that I have been unable to identify. I am from Southeastern PA, USA. Could someone please help? Here are links to photos of a few: http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc95/trichard1125/001.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc95/trichard1125/004.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc95/trichard1125/005.jpg Thank you so much!
I thought the first one was a lily. Now, I am very much NOT a green thumb, so this may be a dumb question. Is there a way to tell what kind of lily it is - I'm curious to research it to see what it will look like and how to care for it...mostly because I am thinking of transplanting it to another part of the yard. Thanks!!
Lilium doesn't succeed in my climate so you have to get that info' from someone else. Just guessing it might be an Asiatic Lily, have you seen bulbils on the stem? http://www.the-genus-lilium.com/images/Lilium/lancifolium_bulbils01.jpg
No bulbis on the stem (yet). I'm hoping maybe someone can help me identify which type it is. Thank you so much for your help - I really appreciate it!!
howdy neighbor!! looks like an oriental lily. i can't believe yours are that tall already! mine have barely broken ground yet!
Ooh, I hope they are Oriental Lilies - I googled them and they are beautiful!!! I would say that you might be right...that's what they look like!! I have some almost 2 ft tall already - in the past week, they really grew!! Do I need to wait until the end of the season to transplant them?
