Could someone help me name this Plant Please

    Hi Does anyone know the name of this plant. It appeared to be dead when i found it in a greenhouse I aquired 3 years ago and is the first time it has flowered. I was told it might be an orchid from the appearance of the roots and leaves but it obviously isnt.
