We are having sewer drainage problems approximately 4' below ground.
Does anyone know how deep the roots of Cotoneaster ground cover will grow? I am wondering if I should remove it?

We have already removed a Viburnum Snowflake.

Generally better to repair the drain, than remove the tree. Have the drain re-lined to waterproof it (this can be done without digging it all up), then you needn't worry about roots any more.
