Please allow us to draw your attention to the upcoming "CORK2012 - Congress On Research and Knowledge of Fagaceae", that will take place from July 15-20th, 2012 in Beja, Portugal. The congress is organized by CEBAL (Centro de Biotecnologia AgrÃcola e Agro-Alimentar do Baixo Alentejo e Litoral) in the frame of the Cork Oak ESTs National Consortium. The congress will cover the most recent research on all aspects of ecology, forestry, physiology, genomics and biotechnology of Fagaceae species. We would like to attract a wide audience and bring together researchers, forest producers and industry stakeholders, for a fruitful exchange of knowledge and state of the art expertises.
