coral red rose-like wildflower, please identify

    Grants Pass, Oregon USA
    Found in the shady woods of Southern Oregon. It has a small clump of leaves on the ground and the flowers are at the end of a long 2' stalk that stems from the base. Unable to find in any books.

    Please help
